CNC Knife Operator - Sonac (by Darling Ingredients)

The CNC Knife operator (Gerber Machine) personnel will read and understand detailed instructions, interpret drawings, and set up and operate the machine to achieve optimal yield.

Operates the CNC Gerber machine following detailed instructions.

Loads materials and starts the automated cutting/plotting process.

Prepares files for cutting and calibrates the machine.

Uses mechanical measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges.

Prioritizes multiple assignments and assists in facility support when needed.

Completes assignments in a timely manner and inputs daily production data into Industrios.

Provides training to new employees and suggests process improvements.

Maintains good housekeeping and safety practices.

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

At least one year of related manufacturing experience.

Good mechanical aptitude and ability to work under pressure.

Knowledge of production processes and commitment to quality.

Experience with ISO or aerospace standards preferred but not required.

Ability to read, write, and comprehend written and verbal English instructions.

Salary: $21.00-$23.00 per hour.
