Head of Project Management

The Project Manager manages all facets of a construction program, including development, coordination, and implementation of a program schedule to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting or exceeding expected quality standards. The Project Manager serves as a leader of the construction program, liaising between team members and clients on all matters. Project value ranges from $2,000 to $1,000,000 each or $3,000,000 annually.

4+ years experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial general contractor

Previous experience managing and coordinating multiple projects, subcontractors, and vendors simultaneously

Experience with civil/site work, site utilities, and structures is a plus

ability to use RS Means or other published unit price books

Resource management, including operations support staff, vendors, subcontractors, and time

Adapt and be flexible to frequent changes in a fast‑paced work environment

Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing

proficiency with Microsoft Office, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam

Mentor and train assistant‑level operations team members

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field desired but not required

Experience managing healthcare construction projects highly desired

Project management: create and manage budgets; ensure delivery orders comply with contract requirements; develop and review SOW through site visits; negotiate with client and subcontractors; coordinate project close‑out and documentation

enter line items into unit‑price software; Subcontractor management: solicit proposals from at least three vendors/subcontractors; coordinate buyout and site visits

Scheduling: develop and maintain project schedules with superintendents for client and subcontractor use

Business development: contact new and existing customers to discuss needs, framework agreements, and potential solutions to enhance service and retention

Safety: ensure compliance with Centennial’s Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) guidelines and local requirements (OSHA, USACE EM385.Travel: drive between project sites often miles apart and may include occasional travel

Physical demands: walk terrain and surfaces that may be uneven or temporary; Compensation range for this role: $79,608.00 – $130,276.00, based on experience, training, certifications, education, and business needs.
