RN - PRN - Surgery Care

PRN PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

Prince William Surgery Center is seeking a PRN PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The PRN PACU RN will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in our multispecialty surgery center. This position offers flexibility with no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery area.

Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions and potential complications.

Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.

Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards.

Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing

Active RN license in the state

2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred

Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
