The Electrical Engineer works with cross-functional teams including other designers, customers, manufacturing engineering, and project leadership to ensure robust and high-quality product development. They enhance designs with feedback from reviews in areas such as manufacturing, test, supply chain, reliability, industrial design, and simulations. They also provide support throughout the manufacturing process of the electrical/mechanical system they have designed.
Design and develop technical solutions without assistance in a limited number of technical fields supporting common segments/technologies. Represent the engineering team in technical customer meetings and project reviews.
Research systems ideas and draw up plans for these systems.
Design, modify, and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs.
Create designs in line with Celestica's procedures, regulations, and customer standards.
Liaise with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.
Electrical:
Creation of Schematics, Bills of material, diagrams, drawings, etc.
Analyzing and interpreting data and information.
Working knowledge of PCB & PCBA manufacturing process along industry and quality standards; Able to summarize the layout requirements from the customer’s requirements.
Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

1+ years of related experience in Electrical Engineering

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
