Pipe Fitter / Welder
Shift : 1st with OT available
Read, interpret, and work from construction blueprints and mechanical drawings to plan and execute piping layouts and installations.
Perform plumbing and fitting installations, including cast iron, copper, and other piping materials, using appropriate tools and techniques.
Use ProPress tools, hand tools, and threading equipment to assemble and secure piping systems safely and efficiently.
Conduct soldering and brazing work on piping systems as required for industrial and commercial applications.
Inspect existing piping and plumbing systems during renovations, identify issues, and implement effective repair or replacement solutions.
Ensure all installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements for mechanical and plumbing systems.
Promote and enforce safe work practices on site, including proper use of tools and equipment and adherence to safety guidelines.
Train and mentor less experienced team members in proper installation techniques, blueprint reading, and safe work procedures.
Document work completed, communicate progress to project leadership, and assist in planning upcoming phases of installation.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greensboro, NC.
