The Quality Inspector II plays a critical role in ensuring that manufacturing processes and products meet established quality standards and customer expectations. This position involves conducting detailed inspections, testing, and measurements of materials and finished goods to identify defects or deviations from specifications. The Quality Inspector II collaborates closely with production teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product reliability and efficiency. High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and documentation standards.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Surface Quality under MIL-PRF-13830B, ANSI/OEOSC OP1.Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS) like ISO 9001.

Familiarity with computerized quality inspection software and data entry systems.

Perform routine and non-routine inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments and visual examination.

Document inspection results and maintain accurate records to support quality assurance and traceability requirements.

Identify and report quality issues, non-conformances, and potential risks to the quality management team promptly.

Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications throughout the manufacturing process.

Participate in internal and external quality audits and assist in the development of quality improvement plans.

Train and mentor junior quality inspectors and support continuous learning within the quality department.
