Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Will work 3x12 hour shifts, Days (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM).
Call Rotation: Up to 4 call shifts (end of shift - 7:00 AM) per month.
Weekend Requirement: Up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks.
Holiday Requirement: Must work at least one of the holiday periods.
Job Description
As an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN), you will be responsible for managing patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment. This role involves collaborating closely with surgical teams to ensure high-quality care and patient safety during various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures.
Monitor and manage patient vitals before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Coordinate with surgical teams to maintain a sterile environment.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of OR equipment and instruments.
Participate in patient education and post-operative care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting is strongly preferred.
• Active SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Scrub experience is highly preferred.
• Radiation badge to be provided by the agency.
