Registered Nurse (RN) for Allergy and Immunology ProgramPuget Sound ENT is a well-established, physician-led otolaryngology practice serving the greater Seattle area. We are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative and innovative clinical environment.As part of our continued growth, we are expanding into integrated allergy services to provide comprehensive airway care for our patients. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to play a key role in launching and supporting a new allergy and immunology program within our practice.This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who enjoys patient education, procedural care, and program development in a fast-paced outpatient setting.Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmWhy Join Puget Sound ENT?Established, respected private practice in a highly desirable Seattle marketBuilt-in patient volume and opportunity to grow a new specialty serviceSupportive, physician-led culture focused on high-quality careOpportunity to play a foundational role in building a new clinical programPosition HighlightsHelp establish and grow a new allergy program within a thriving ENT practiceStrong internal referral base from ENT providersOpportunity to take ownership of clinical workflows and patient care processesCollaborative, team-oriented environmentLong-term growth and leadership potential within the allergy service lineKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdminister and monitor: Allergen immunotherapy injections (SCIT)Sublingual immunotherapy support (SLIT)Perform: Skin prick and intradermal allergy testingPatient intake, vitals, and clinical documentationMonitor patients for adverse reactions and respond to allergic emergencies (including anaphylaxis)Educate patients on allergy conditions, medications, and treatment plansMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety protocolsAssist in developing clinic workflows, protocols, and quality standardsCoordinate care with physicians, PAs, and administrative staffDisplay professionalism at work and in the community as a representative of the CenterEducation/ExperienceGraduation from an accredited school of nursingCurrent State licensure and BLS accreditation (ACLS preferred)Experience in allergy, immunology, ENT or outpatient procedural care preferredStrong clinical assessment and patient education skillsAbility to manage high-volume clinic flow efficientlyDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProblem solving skillsAbility to remove oneself personally from given situations, remaining objectiveSkill in organizing and reporting information that is accurate and completeUnderstanding of the need for and evidence of consistent respect for confidentiality/HIPAAAbility to maintain composure in stressful situationsSkill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all staffAbility to prepare records in accordance with detailed instructionsAbility to communicate clearlyConsistency and timeliness in attendanceWork Environment/Physical DemandsThe work environment/physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a teammate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
