Shift:
Day-Weekend (United States of America)
Practices infection control standards and utilizes approved personal protective equipment (PPE) and disinfectant agents. Maintains a properly stocked, organized, and clean room. Completes required documentation for Radiologist support and performs clerical duties, including answering telephones, completing patient records, filing, and scheduling. Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist's scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition and ensuring patient comfort, safety, and privacy. Obtains and documents patient history and explain procedures. Performs radiology duties in all departments and environments, including OR and Fluoroscopy. Performs all imaging exams using established protocols and operates all equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment. Uses facility policy for proper identification of patients prior to performing exams and educates patients concerning the exam. Positions patients and equipment and selects technical factors to produce radiographic images meeting Radiologist's standards in a safe, timely manner. Up-to-date knowledge of patient positioning and equipment operations, including x-ray producing equipment, if applicable per facility [Required]
Able to fully use all Radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment [Required]
Bachelor's [Preferred]
Work Experience:
~Registered Technologist - Radiography (RT(R) (ARRT)) [Required]
Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening , including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
