Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Days/Mids
Position: ER Registered Nurse
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts- alternating eve/nights
Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week available
Location: Emergency Department (47 beds)
Start Date: 6/29/26
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The RN will assess, plan, and deliver care to patients of all ages while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
Triage patients based on severity of condition
Monitor patient status and respond to changes quickly and appropriately
Administer treatments and medications as ordered
Assist with emergency procedures within RN scope of practice
Communicate effectively with physicians and care team members
Develop and update patient care and discharge plans
Educate patients and families on care and treatment plans
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice)
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, and CPI certifications required
Minimum 2 years ER experience preferred (strong 1st-time travelers considered)
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Basic computer proficiency
Must meet all compliance, health, and background requirements
Position Details

Patient Ratio: 1:4
Patient Population: All ages
Environment: High-volume ER (non-trauma center)
Weekends: Every other weekend required
Holidays: Required as scheduled
Floating: Required within specialty
On-Call: Not required
