Senior Property and Liability Claims Adjuster

Claim Specialist to join our Property Claim unit in Atlanta, Georgia. Claim Specialist provides specialized, technical claim handling expertise for our E&S commercial property line of business.
Strong working relationships are a key component of RSUI's team-oriented, high-performance culture. Team meetings, employee events, and other work obligations also often require an in-person presence. This position will work RSUI's hybrid schedule, which requires three days weekly in the office.

Assertive daily handling of Property Claims associated with Property and Binding Authority Underwriting policies. Provide appropriate reporting on files to the Unit Leader and/or Sr. Act independently in evaluating claim exposures within assigned dollar authority.
College degree or equivalent property claims experience.
Minimum 6+ years of property claims experience, including substantial experience in E&S commercial property claims.
Technical experience in claims, claims handling practices, and practical knowledge of coverage and policy language.
Adjuster's license required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills (telephone, email and interpersonal).
Excellent understanding and skill level of internal and external customer service.
Knowledge of specialized claim handling, policy interpretation-both standard forms and manuscript forms, damage assessment, expert selection and management, principles of investigation, adjustment documentation and evaluation of cases to determine effective course of action.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word and Excel).
