About the Opportunity An established and aggressively growing general contractor is seeking an experienced Multifamily Project Manager to join the Charlotte-area operations. Backed by a substantial, multi-year pipeline of high-profile, ground-up and mid-rise multifamily projects across the Carolinas, this organization offers a refreshing break from corporate bureaucracy.
Leadership believes in empowering project managers to run their jobsites like business owners, providing the resources and high-level backing necessary to succeed without micro-management.
Direct all phases of multifamily construction from pre-construction, budgeting, and subcontractor buyout through execution and closeout.
Financial & Schedule Control: Manage project financials, forecasting, owner billings, change orders, and master schedules to ensure target milestones and profit margins are met.
Serve as the primary point of contact for architects, engineers, owners, and municipal officials while fostering strong working relationships.
Field Coordination: Collaborate closely with project Superintendents to maintain rigorous standards for jobsite safety, quality control, and schedule adherence.
Mentor and support assistant project managers and project engineers to build strong, high-performing project teams.
Run projects with the trust and backing of executive leadership, free from heavy-handed corporate constraints.

Generous base salary commensurate with experience, lucrative performance-based bonuses
2+ years of Multifamily construction experience, with a proven track record managing ground-up or mid-rise multifamily projects as a Project Manager.

• Strong command of project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project).
• Comprehensive understanding of local Charlotte subcontractor markets, zoning, and building codes is a strong advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred (equivalent field experience will also be considered).
