Cook / Chef Services Needed

Great Western Dining Service at our Southeast Community College - Lincoln location is looking for a skilled Cook/Chef to prepare delicious meals. They must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create new menu items and improve existing recipes
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
Prepare, portion, cook food items for various meal periods or special events
Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Follow all company HACCP and safety policies
Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment
Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
