Associate Chemist or the Toxicology Lab

Labcorp seeks an Associate Chemist for its Toxicology team in Burlington, North Carolina. The role involves reviewing and certifying LC/MS data, maintaining analytical instrumentation, and performing qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses in a clinical laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
Review and certify LC/MS data using Analyst and Ascent software; verify calibration and quality controls
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical equipment including GC, HPLC, and UPLC-MS/MS
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses on organic and inorganic samples
Evaluate raw and final data for accuracy; identify and correct errors
Assist with training new employees and provide guidance on data interpretation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
Two or more years of clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS degree
Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
