Attorney - associate - law

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Mass Tort Associate Attorney in Pensacola, FL. The successful candidate will manage various mass tort cases, covering all aspects from inception to trial and settlement. This role requires thriving in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to client satisfaction.

Duties Conduct legal research on mass tort issues, including case law and applicable statutes.

Draft and file pleadings, motions, complaints, and other documents accurately and timely.

Manage multiple mass tort cases, including tracking deadlines and coordinating with clients and experts.

Develop case strategy and assist in building compelling case narratives.

Handle client communications and build rapport with clients.

Assist with litigation processes, including preparation for depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.

Coordinate with a team of paralegals, litigation assistants, and attorneys.

Requirements Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school or in the process of obtaining one.

Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility to sit for the bar exam promptly.

Ranked in the top 25% of law school class.

Minimum of 3 years of legal experience.

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong passion for mass torts litigation.

Preferred Qualifications Ranked in the top 10% of law school class.

Participation in mock trial, moot court, and/or law review.

Judicial clerkship or litigation internship experience.

Prior mass tort experience.

Education Juris Doctorate (J.D.)

Certifications Admission to the Florida Bar

Skills Strong analytical and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
