Job Summary:

This is an ICU Cardiovascular (ICU OH) nursing position located in Reston, Virginia. The role involves providing specialized care to cardiac surgery patients within a newly launched cardiac surgery program. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position supports a 12-hour night shift schedule, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Schedule: 36 hours, 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks

Required Qualifications: 0 years of minimum experience; valid license; certifications include ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support); preferred candidates will have 1-2 years of recent cardiac surgery patient care with direct primary recovery experience, and training in balloon pump, impella, hemosphere, or acumen.

Additional Information: Unit type: CVICU; equipment and technology include new cardiac surgery equipment; EMR system is Meditech Expanse; focus on patient care for post-surgical cardiac patients.
