Physical Therapist Assistant - Mind & Mobility
Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in‑home care for Medicare Part B patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. In this role, you will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans, deliver skilled therapy to improve mobility, strength, and function, and educate patients on exercises and safety strategies.

Provide skilled therapy interventions to improve patients’ mobility, strength, balance, and function.

Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with Medicare Part B guidelines.

Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and the interdisciplinary home health/therapy team.

Monitor patient response to therapy and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist.

Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of practice.

Experience in home health or outpatient therapy preferred.

Strong patient care, treatment implementation, and communication skills.

Comfortable working independently and managing a flexible, home‑based schedule.

This position requires Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Independent Contractor (1099)
