Job Description Responsibilities

Review and interpret physician orders to ensure safe and effective medication therapy.

Dispense medications accurately and provide clear instructions to patients regarding their use.

Conduct patient assessments to monitor therapeutic outcomes and identify potential drug interactions.

Administer immunizations.

Compounding medications.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care in acute care settings.

Maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and pharmacy standards.

Educate patients on medication management, potential side effects, and proper usage.

Stay current with advancements in pharmacotherapy and participate in continuing education.
