Registered Nurse (RN) Trauma/Ortho/Tele

This is the largest medical surgical unit with a focused population including Trauma, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery and General Surgery. We are proud to provide exceptional care in a team focused atmosphere and collaborative environment. Many nurses who join this unit, stay for the rest of their career. Specific learning opportunities available on 8 Tower include critical thinking, advanced assessment skills, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and advanced physical skills including the management of all types of IV lines, enteral feeding tubes, and invasive drainage devices. Nurses looking to advance their career in leadership or clinical excellence are supported through professional growth opportunities such as education, unit leadership and shadow experiences in advanced areas. We pride ourselves on our shared governance structure that allows for staff participation in the decision making process at all levels of leadership. Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
