Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in CVICU for a travel assignment in Parkersburg, WV. This role involves working in a dynamic mixed acuity unit, catering to both step-down and ICU status patients. Candidates will be part of a comprehensive care team overseeing post-operative heart patients and other cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU - Travel
Provide comprehensive care to patients with atrial fibrillation, heart blocks, and other cardiac conditions
Manage patients post heart surgery including CABG and thoracic surgery
Operate and manage ventilators and respiratory equipment
Titrate medications like Cardizem, Cordarone, Nitroglycerin, and others
Perform hemodynamic monitoring and manage arterial lines
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists
Participate in unit-specific orientation and ongoing learning
Adapt to potential charge nurse responsibilities during night shifts
Requirements of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with
• 6 hr post op open heart patients and specific cardiac devices
• Proficiency in CRRT and temporary pacemakers
• Ventilator and Hypothermia Protocol experience
• Experience reading telemetry strips
• Prefer IABP/Impella experience
