Mechanical Engineering Tech - Contractor

Mechanical Design: Design parts, assemblies, and sheet metal components to bring products from concept to prototype, testing, and launch using product specifications and standard DFM/DFA methodologies. – Engineering Analysis: Evaluate or generate technical specifications, reliability, and costing of various equipment including pumps, motors, levers, lights, hardware, and assorted integrated electrical components.

Prototyping: Plan and coordinate production of prototype parts and systems for validation.

Fully document and track engineering changes, CAD files, and test reports in cooperation with production and drafting personnel.

Provide engineering support to Production and Service to resolve issues on existing equipment.

Project Leadership: Take ownership of small to large projects with complex assemblies and features. – Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Experience: 3+ years of progressive mechanical engineering experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environment. • Proven experience leading design projects from concept through production.

Proven experience in mechanical design of complex parts, assemblies, and products.

Occasional travel (0‑10%) to area customers, suppliers, or equipment sites if needed.

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and engineering analysis tools. (local to CO)
