Description: The Emergency Department offers comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups. It is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. The team is composed of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. The Emergency Department treats a high volume of patients annually. The nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical/trauma patients to 1:3-4 for all other patients. An associated degree in nursing is required for this position.
