Therapy/Rehabilitation, Music Therapist

Fairmount is a major regional resource for children, adolescents and adults who have psychiatric and behavioral problems as well as alcohol and drug dependency needs. With one of the leading alcohol and drug detox and rehab programs in Philadelphia, Fairmount is the provider of choice for individuals requiring specialized co-occurring psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment. We are currently seeking a Per Diem-Allied Therapist to join our team.

The Per Diem Allied Therapist is responsible for assessing patients' leisure and recreational activities, providing age and developmentally appropriate therapy groups using a combination of activities, creative arts modalities, and talk therapy, helping patients develop safety/crisis plans, and establishing behavioral treatment goals in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System.

Performs and documents appropriately Allied Therapy and other assessments on assigned patients within 72 hours of admission with consideration to age, mental, social, and physical status. Visit us online at:

• Education - master's degree in allied health or related counseling/clinical field required.
• 1 Allied Therapy field working with people in recovery from mental health disorders preferred
• PA professionally licensed Music or Art Therapist preferred.
• Collaborate with other staff to continually improve service delivery.
