Progressive Care: Direct care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a technically complex environment. AACN's Synergy Model and various specialty certification standards are included in evidence based care models for the PCU. Clinical Educators support and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation.
