We are seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Simpson Midtown/Simpson Gardens I&II, a senior living community dedicated to providing safe, comfortable, and enriching environments for our residents. This position requires a skilled technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and committed to maintaining the integrity and safety of our facility.Essential Duties:Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.).Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and emergency repair requests in resident units and common areas.Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all maintenance operations.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inspections using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and resolve potential issues before they become problems.Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs or projects.Communicate effectively with residents and staff, demonstrating respect, patience, and professionalism.Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.Core Competencies – Maintenance Technician II (Senior Living)1.
