Job Type: Flex Position | 0.6-0.9 FTE or 48-72 hours/pp
Schedule: 12-hour Swing/Night/Day shifts (Swing Primary), Christmas Even Years plus Every 3rd Weekend

An ED RN who excels in this role:

Cares for patients and administers medications in accordance with established best practices, competencies and training.
Accurately documents patient care given.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Maintains the privacy and security of all confidential and protected health information. When performing sitter duties: positions self to maintain constant visual observation of the patient to monitor their activity and behavior. Accurately and legibly records data collected and notify patient care team of any untoward events (behavioral changes, violent behavior, etc.).

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license (or attain within 90 days of hire) and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred). 1-Year Medical-Surgical Experience

• 1-year Emergency Department or Critical Care Experience (Preferred)
• Annual Influenza Vaccination or Declination Required
