Position: Full-Time (US citizen or permanent resident/green card holder only)
About the Role:
Indiana Microelectronics, LLC ( is seeking an innovative and skilled Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and optimizing cutting-edge tunable radio frequency filters and radio frequency front-end (RFFE) systems for interference mitigation. If you have a deep passion for electromagnetic theory, circuit design, and pushing the boundaries of wireless technology, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development: Architect, design, and simulate RF circuits and components (amplifiers, filters, mixers).
Testing & Validation: Conduct rigorous lab testing and evaluation using RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators).
Performance Optimization: Analyze parameters such as gain, noise figure, VSWR, linearity, and phase noise to ensure peak hardware performance.
Project Implementation: Work closely with systems engineers, firmware developers, project managers, and customers from early-stage architecture to production.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in RF engineering, hardware design, or wireless communications.
Software Proficiency: Strong experience with RF simulation and design tools such as ANSYS HFSS, Keysight ADS, Microwave Office, and Altium . Familiarity with scripting languages (Python or MATLAB/Simulink) for automated testing and data analysis.
Hardware & Lab Knowledge: Proficient in operating spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, probe stations, and oscilloscopes.
Core Competencies: Solid understanding of transmission line theory, electromagnetic fields, and RF & microwave circuit design.
