Job Description Allied Universal® is hiring a Regional Human Resources Representative. The Regional Human Resources Representative is responsible for managing all employee and labor relations for a defined client group (branch locations/divisions), by partnering with branch management on all human resource related activities.
Why We're Hiring: We're backfilling due to an internal promotion-the San Francisco HRR advanced into the HR Manager role in San Jose, and we're now hiring their successor to maintain strong HR support across the Bay.
Work Location (In‑Office): This is an on‑site HR Representative role that requires regular travel between the San Francisco and San Mateo offices to support both locations consistently.
About the Role: This position is heavily focused on investigations, with approximately 90% of responsibilities dedicated to employee relations work across San Francisco and San Mateo. We're seeking someone with strong prior investigation experience who is confident in their decisions, skilled in navigating complex cases, comfortable making termination recommendations, and grounded in solid HR knowledge in a fast‑paced environment.
Research and conduct employee investigations, in a dynamic and high-volume environment, providing solutions in line with corporate guidelines and collaborating closely with the Regional Human Resources Manager and/or Director
Collaborate with branch and regional leaders and the Center of Excellence to interpret and clarify Human Resources procedures, ensuring strict compliance with employment laws and regulations
Review employee screening results to ensure compliance with company policy
Enforce company policies, address operational challenges, and serve as a liaison between branch staff and regional HR leadership for consistent policy application
Act as a liaison with various regional HR functions (i.e., benefits, workers comp, legal, recruiting), to ensure timely flow of information and execution of branch/regional priorities
As needed, may assist with conducting employee new hire orientation and onboarding for administrative hires, large account takeovers and acquisitions
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field with a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible human resources experience
High school diploma with a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible human resources experience
Current state driver's license, maintains a clean driving record, and meets minimum insurance requirements as per Company policy, and ability to safely operate a personal vehicle
Prior administrative or customer service work experience
Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, adept at maintaining confidentiality in documentation, discussions, and materials
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Willingness and ability to travel throughout the regional territory, including some overnight
Prior human resources experience, preferably in a high-volume entry-level workforce service industry
Professional Human Resources certification (e.g., Experience managing the receipt, investigation, documentation, resolution, and communication of employee relations cases in a high turnover, entry-level wage, non-exempt employee environment
Base wage: $70,304 - $80,000 + bonus eligibility + automobile allowance & fuel card + internal advancement opportunities
