Job Description Riddle’s jewelry is looking for an eager, trend-driven Jewelry Buyer to help shape our product assortment across 70+ retail locations. You’ll partner closely with vendors, dig into what’s selling, and grow your buying career firsthand in a collaborative environment – with real ownership and room to make a lasting impact.

Merchandising Strategy & Assortment Planning

Develop and execute assortment strategies aligned with company goals and customer preferences

Analyze sales performance, trends, margin, and inventory metrics to drive profitable decisions

Create and manage seasonal and core assortment plans across designated categories

Lead planogram development, case layouts, and merchandising standards to maximize presentation and sell-through

Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships, negotiating pricing, terms, and exclusives

Oversee purchase order process including SKU setup, order placement, receiving coordination, and vendor follow-up

Manage inventory levels, forecasting, replenishment, allocation, and category performance

Monitor open-to-buy and ensure alignment with financial objectives

Lead vendor return strategy and product lifecycle management

Strong analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data

Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

Degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field (preferred)

• 3-5+ years of retail buying, merchandising, or product planning experience
• Retail buying or product experience in jewelry, fashion, or accessories is a plus – but not required
