Hot Prep Cook
SAGE Dining Services is seeking a dependable Hot Prep Cook to join our team at a private school dining hall in Austin, TX. In this role, you'll support our daytime cooks in preparing lunch for a community of approximately 1,000 students and staff.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable in a kitchen environment and has a solid foundation in cooking and food prep. The ideal candidate can jump in and contribute right away with strong knife skills, bulk prep, and batch cooking, while also following HACCP guidelines and food safety standards.

- 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Pay Type:
$21.00 Hourly

Full Time

Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
Maintain the customer service areas to ensure our guests enjoy amazing dining experiences.
Prepare assigned menu items in accordance with SAGE recipes.
Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).
Experience as a prep cook or line server in a commercial kitchen preferred.
Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner and provide service with a smile!
