Registered Nurse - Telemetry/MedSurg - Weekend Nights

Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical/TelemetryThis role is offered for a duration of 26 weeks.This position requires a Night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.The Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. The nurse will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients primarily in a Medical-Surgical unit while maintaining telemetered patient care capabilities. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake charge RN responsibilities and may be floated to any Cone Health campus as needed.Administer blood products and manage peripheral line care.Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs, including EKG interpretation.Start IVs and manage intravenous medication protocols.Utilize rapid response and code teams as necessary.Adhere to isolation precautions and infection control protocols.Active RN license required.2 years of relevant nursing experience required, including previous charge experience.BLS certification required.Experience with the EPIC charting system preferred.Must pass an EKG exam during onboarding.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
