We are seeking providers with the following qualifications:
Master's degree in Audiology or AuD is required. New graduates will be considered.
Licensure as an Audiologist in the District of Columbia.
Certification by the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association is required.
Responsibilities of the Provider:
Provide full range of diagnostic audiological and vestibular services to patients, including neonates, with hearing disorders or balance disturbances.
Evaluate, select and fit patients with cochlear and bone conduction implants, assistive listening devices, hearing aids, and amplification systems.
Train audiology interns.
General Summary
The Division of Audiology is part of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at MedStar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC). The Division of Audiology currently has four providers. As noted above, we seek a provider who is broadly trained in audiology and comfortable with the variety of patients cared for in our practice.
