Overview
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality preventative oral care. You will work closely with the dentist and dental team to maintain patients’ oral health, perform hygiene procedures, and educate patients on best practices.
Location: Sandy Springs, GA
Practice Overview
They are an independently owned, well established, small practice in the Sandy Springs area.
Hours
28 hours weekly: Mon & Tue 7am to 3pm; Wed & Thu 7am to 1pm; Friday closed
Pay
Pay Rate: $50 per hour (negotiable)
Responsibilities
Review/update medical & dental history; assess oral health
Clean teeth: remove plaque, tartar, stains (scaling, polishing)
Take and interpret dental x-rays
Apply fluoride and sealants
Perform periodontal assessments and charting
Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and aftercare
Maintain accurate patient records and progress notes
Follow infection control and sterilization protocols
Prepare/sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
Assist dentist during procedures when needed
Qualifications
Accredited dental hygiene program (associate degree or higher)
Current state license/registration (RDH)
5+ years of hygiene experience
Familiarity with Dentrix preferred
Skills & Attributes

Team-oriented with strong organizational skills
