Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position in Danbury, CT, requiring a CT or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details

• Night shift position with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Hospital-based Med/Surg Oncology unit
• 3 weekend shifts required per schedule period
• Floating to other medical/surgical units may be required

Requirements
Active CT RN license (or compact license) required
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required; only AHA-issued certifications are accepted
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year in the same specialty
Chemotherapy Administration Certification preferred
Additional Information
Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be considered at a reduced rate
Candidates with previous work history at any Northwell or Nuvance Health location may be subject to an extended review process to determine eligibility
Certifications expiring during the assignment period should have a renewal receipt or scheduled course dates available
Timekeeping is managed through the Kronos system
