Summary We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a team of developers that make our platform work so we can deliver on our mission. You’ll invest deeply in the growth of your engineers, build strong cross‑functional relationships, and help us ship software that actually matters. You won’t be managing a process; Attract and retain strong engineering talent. Collaborate with other engineering groups on integrations, best practices, and new technologies.

Lead tier‑3 engineering support for your domain: triage, resolution, clear communication, and root‑cause fixes.

Participate in technical design discussions and architectural decisions across the broader engineering org.

Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervise approximately 5‑10 full‑time employees and contract employees.

Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, address complaints, and resolve problems.

Qualifications Five plus (5+) years of experience leading engineering teams, with a track record of developing people and building strong team cultures.

Ability to attract, grow, and retain engineering talent.

Experience managing teams delivering production software across the full product lifecycle.

Understanding of application architecture, integration design, deployment, and testing.

Nice to Have AWS experience—API Gateway, Elastic Beanstalk, Aurora, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch.

Java / Spring Boot.

React / TypeScript.

CI/CD pipelines; AWS CodePipeline and CodeBuild.

Enterprise identity/SSO platforms.

Observability platforms.

PHP legacy systems and modernization strategies.

Workflow automation platforms.

Database migration tools.

Data pipeline / ETL patterns.

Background in ed‑tech, career platforms, or two‑sided marketplaces.
