As a Registered Nurse in a progressive stepdown/PCU environment, you'll have the opportunity to sharpen your clinical skills by working with a diverse patient population. Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 18 months recent Progressive Care (PCU) nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with advanced cardiac/respiratory care (trach/vent, cardiac drips, rhythm interpretation, chest tubes)
• Strong wound and trach care, and experience with titratable IV drips

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care for cardiac, pulmonary, and complex medical patients
• Effectively manage patients on mechanical ventilation, BIPAP/CPAP, and advanced monitoring
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including virtual nursing and pharmacists
• Contribute to a positive, family-oriented unit culture and mentor less experienced staff
