Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team in Brick, NJ.Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00pm – 2:30am, and rotating SaturdaysJob Responsibilities:Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingUnpack and route specimens to their respective staging areasAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesMeet department activity and production goalsProperly prepare and store excess specimen samplesData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerResolve and document any problem specimensMinimum Qualifications:High School diploma or GED or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:6 months or more experience (lab, accessioning, production, manufacturing or warehouse environment)6 months of medical or production experienceAdditional Job Standards:Comfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailProficient in MS OfficeAble to lift up to 40lbs.Imagine the impact those skills can have in ensuring the accuracy of millions of healthcare tests, every month.
