Morning (1st shift): Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm Afternoon (2nd Shift): Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm Overnight (3rd Shift): Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am Who we are: CDI custom curb adapters is the nation’s fastest curb manufacturer in the HVAC industry. FAST: Respond quickly - EASY: Don’t complicate things - FUN: Be a great day maker Position Summary: The primary responsibility is welding of various metal types to create components used to assemble the finished product. Each task must be completed with safety, accuracy & timeliness in the welding department. Safe operation of MIG welding machine and various other tools used to complete project Create quality and accurate welds according to blueprints. Prepare product to be welded by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping and cutting steel parts. Change welding wire as needed. Change shielding gas tanks, as needed Follow and enforce all CDI safety rules and regulations Ensure equipment is properly set-up & used in a safe manner & that all safety devices are in use. Performs inspections on product before, during, and after the build following CDI’s standards. Monitor functionality of equipment and tools and request maintenance when required. Effectively communicate with supervisors & other production staff to coordinate work schedules Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. Must be at least 18 years old. Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and hand tools. Knowledge or willingness to cross-train in other production departments. Must be able to effectively read, write and speak the English language.
