About the Position
# Job Opportunity – Postpartum Registered Nurse – Texas Start Date: August 10, 2026
Location: Irving, Texas

Schedule: Night shift (7:00 PM start), 36 hours per week, every other weekend required Highlights:

• 13-week assignment in a busy Postpartum and Newborn Nursery unit
• Comprehensive patient care including high-risk Antepartum patients and Postpartum recoveries
• Meditech EMR documentation system
• Collaborative team environment with floating as needed to support patient care
• Opportunity to utilize advanced maternal-fetal medicine skills and neonatal resuscitation training

Requirements:
Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
Minimum 2 years of hospital-based nursing experience
Current BLS and

NRP

certifications required
Experience caring for high-risk Antepartum patients and Postpartum recoveries
Newborn Nursery experience required
Proficiency with IV placement and postpartum care procedures
RNC-OB certification preferred but not required
Meditech experience preferred
Advanced fetal monitoring experience is a plus
