Provide individual, couple and group counseling, conduct initial intake and triage assessments and psycho-diagnostic assessments, crisis interventions, mental health consultation, primarily to medial students. Be part of after-hours crisis rotation team.

Provide outreach, training and consultation to staff, faculty and students

Supervise and evaluate clinical work of masters interns and trainees

perform administrative duties as assigned by the director.

Provides mental health care and education to students and the University community. Provides individual and group therapy. Collaborates with other medical personnel concerning patient care. Coordinates and/or participates in community outreach programs.

Often takes on leadership roles in projects or initiatives. Fiscal Responsibilities May have budgetary responsibility for small-scale projects or initiatives. Physical Requirements This role is primarily desk-based and involves extensive use of desktop computers. Occasionally, the job may require travel to attend meetings and programs.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or in a related field and 5 or more years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience. Healthcare professionals must hold, or be eligible for, appropriate licensure as required by position.
