Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and formulate individualized therapy strategies to support their functional ambitions
Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
Teach patients and their caregivers effective therapy techniques to foster continued progress at home
Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary, ensuring each patient maintains momentum
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
