The Building Principal leads the formal pre-expulsion process and the development of the Remedial Discipline Plan. This position participates in planning meetings and is primarily responsible for coordinating implementation, monitoring progress, and supporting staff, students, and families. The position supports both step-up interventions for students at risk of expulsion and step-down supports for students returning from expulsion or alternative placement. All intervention planning, implementation, progress monitoring, and documentation are maintained within the MTSS Student Support Behavior Plan, utilizing the Remedial Discipline Plan designation when applicable to ensure consistency and procedural fidelity.
