At Fairfax Radiology Centers, our MRI Technologists combine advanced imaging expertise with compassionate patient care. As a PRN MRI Technologist, you'll provide flexible coverage in our newly built Reston/Herndon Imaging Center, delivering exceptional outpatient MRI services using advanced GE 1.5T and 3T MRI systems.
You'll enjoy the variety and flexibility of PRN work while practicing in a patient-focused outpatient environment where your technical expertise, professionalism, and commitment to patient care make a meaningful impact every day.

Perform both routine and specialty MRI examinations

As a PRN MRI Technologist, you'll deliver exceptional MRI services while helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their imaging experience.
Perform Advanced MRI Imaging
Perform routine and specialty MRI examinations
Produce consistently high-quality diagnostic images
Operate advanced GE 1.5T and 3T MRI systems
Explain MRI procedures clearly and compassionately
Provide exceptional customer service from arrival through completion of the exam
Follow MRI safety protocols and best practices
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure timely, high-quality diagnostic imaging
Maintain imaging quality standards while supporting efficient patient flow
Six months or more of MRI experience or successful completion of a formal MRI training program
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience performing specialty MRI examinations
Experience working with GE MRI systems
Perform MRI examinations confidently and independently
Produce consistently high-quality images requiring minimal repeats
Become a dependable member of our PRN MRI team

41.65 - $45.33 - $49.00 - $52.68 per hour
Placement within the range is determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, and internal equity.
