Pulmonologist - Full Time (no ICU)

Pulmonologist Opportunity in Findlay, OH

Independent Health System is seeking a Pulmonologist to work in Findlay, OH (1.5 hours from Detroit). This is a four-day work week with a $100,000 sign-on bonus!

The group employs more than 3,000 associates and serves an eight-county area. It is a 150-bed, Level III Trauma Center, close to Detroit and Toledo. The area has large local companies and eight universities. The group has new facilities, high retention, and physician autonomy.

Job/Practice Description:

Pulmonary Physician Location: Findlay, OH (1.5 hours from Detroit, MI)

150-bed, 16-bed ICU, 18-bed CCU, Level III Trauma Center, Level III ODH Heart Care Center, 12-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit

Predominantly outpatient pulmonary practice. Asthma, COPD, Functional Testing, etc. Role is mainly based in outpatient clinic with occasional coverage of ICU. No call responsibilities

General pulmonary outpatient practice with interventional pulmonary procedures

100% outpatient role, no call responsibilities

Flexible full-time schedule (45 days/week)

24/7 in-house hospitalist and intensivist coverage

1.5 OR procedure block days per week with flexibility for additional procedures

Typical clinic volume: approximately 20 patients/day (8-hr day)

Established lung cancer screening program with approximately 600 active patients and opportunity for continued growth

Hospital-based pulmonary clinic located adjacent to the ICU

Cerner EMR with AI-powered tools

Robotic bronchoscopy (ION) - Required

Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) - Required

Thoracentesis

Chest tube placement

Central venous catheter placement

Ventilator management

Fluoroscopy access

Profile Background: Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonology Ability to hold an Ohio State License
