RDA/DENTAL ASSISTANCE

At River Run Dental Spa in Colonial Heights, VA, our team of dentists and hygienists do everything from dental cleanings to crowns to dentures to tooth extractions. Together we diagnose, treat, and manage our patients' overall oral healthcare needs. We focus on preventing oral disease whenever possible and pride ourselves on quality routine dental care.
We are seeking a skilled and caring Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The Dental Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and hygienists, ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic, and delivering exceptional patient experiences. Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures, managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort

• Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment
• Capture dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols
• Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options
• Accurately update patient records and dental charts in EHR systems
• Infection Control: Appointment Scheduling: Help manage and confirm patient appointments
• Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support

Dental Assistant certification.

• Proficient in dental procedures and instrument handling
• Thorough understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards
