LPN Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
Complete resident admissions, discharges, and transfers
Coordinate medication requisitions with pharmacies and physicians
Collect resident data, make observations, and report changes in condition to the appropriate personnel
Implement and evaluate resident care plans in accordance with state regulations
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive resident outcomes
Direct and supervise care provided by nursing assistants and other nursing personnel as permitted by state regulations
Follow infection control procedures, emergency protocols, and facility policies and procedures
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Maintain knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and use
Protect resident confidentiality, privacy, dignity, and rights
Perform other duties as assigned

LPN Qualifications
Current, valid LPN license in the State of Florida
Current CPR Certification
Two years of prior nursing experience preferred
Strong communication and clinical skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Dependable, professional, and compassionate approach to resident care

This role requires Florida AHCA Clearinghouse background screening.
