Messer owns and operates a world class fleet repair and refurbishment center in Chattanooga, Tennessee where the team performs maintenance, repair, and refurbishment work on transport equipment to ensure safe and reliable assets for the company.

The core work of the site is to restore fleet trailers to "Like New" condition. In addition to welding and fabrication work, the site also completes assembly, wiring, hydraulics, pneumatics, rebuilding components, testing, and certification of equipment.

Ensure work is performed with high level of quality, meeting Messer safety standards, and in an efficient manner, to plan and budget.

Fabricate new parts and components for transport equipment.

brake/ABS/suspension systems, air system, electrical/lighting, etc.).

Basic computer skills.

2 years previous welding experience OR a welding diploma/certification from a Vocational/Technical school.

2 years previous Fabrication experience.

Fabricate sub-structures from reference to drawings/blueprints.

Creative thinking mindset to suggest improvements and changes.
