Registered Nurse- Ambulatory Surgery- Part Time - Relocation Required

Job description:Loden Vision Center is looking for a Part-Time Registered Nurse to work in pre- and post-op for our surgery center in Goodlettsville, TN 2-3 days per week from 6:30am - 4:30pm. This candidate will support and care for our patients and facilitate their recovery. Our goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality care.ResponsibilitiesMonitor patient’s condition and provide the best possible care and adviceWork in pre op, post op, and circulateAssist with cataract surgeries and Ophthalmic proceduresObserve and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to OphthalmologistCollaborate with team members to understand care plan for patientInspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, etc.)Provide instant medical care in emergenciesAssist surgeons during operationsFoster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their familiesSkillsProven experience as a registered nurseIn-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all timesA team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsResponsible and compassionateOutstanding organizational and multi-tasking skillsPatient with excellent problem-solving skillsBS or other diploma from a nursing programValid nursing licenseMedical Specialty:SurgeryPhysical Setting:Ambulatory Surgery CenterAbility to commute/relocate:Goodlettsville, TN 37072: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor's (Preferred)Experience:Nursing: 2 years (Preferred)License/Certification:BLS Certification (Preferred)RN (Required)ACLS Certification (Required)Work Location: In personHours: 2-3 days per week, 6:30am - 4:30pm
