Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic, polished, and hospitality-driven Host / Maitre D' to join our front-of-house team. As the first and last impression of the restaurant, this role is instrumental in curating the guest experience from arrival through departure. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills, a refined professional presence, and the ability to manage reservations, guest relations, and dining room flow within a fast-paced fine dining environment.

Pay: $16 / hour plus tips

Responsibilities:

Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality, creating an exceptional first impression.

Manage reservations, seating assignments, and waitlists to optimize guest experience and dining room flow.

Coordinate closely with managers, servers, and support staff to ensure seamless pacing and service execution.

Anticipate guest needs, accommodate special requests, and resolve concerns with poise and urgency.

Build rapport with repeat and VIP guests while maintaining elevated hospitality standards.

Maintain strong knowledge of the restaurant, menu offerings, dining room layout, and daily operations.

Ensure the host stand and entrance areas remain clean, organized, and presentation-ready at all times.

Qualifications:

Previous host, maitre d', or reservations experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant preferred.

Professional demeanor with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational abilities and composure in a high-volume environment.

Guest-first mindset with a passion for luxury hospitality and service excellence.

Ability to multitask and adapt quickly while maintaining attention to detail.

Open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
