LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Torrance CA to include, but not limited to Orange County and LA County areas.

Work Schedule: Able to cover hours that vary Monday – Friday 6:00 am – 6:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed, including some Saturdays. Flex -This is a casual/per diem position, hours will be as needed.

6:00 am- 6:00pm, Monday – Friday, with rotating weekends.

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Process billing information and collect payments when required

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Provide superior customer service to all patients

Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Travel to additional sites when needed

High school diploma or GED or equivalent

California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)

2 year or more of experience as phlebotomist

• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• 1 year or more phlebotomist experiences with Geriatrics and Pediatric patients
• Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Exceptional customer service
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

As a Phlebotomist Float, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience. You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/patient service center locations. Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Additional $1.50/hr plus mileage reimbursement

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
